We have received funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to construct a giant, 30ft dragonfly in The Glade Community Garden! The idea for the project came from our volunteers who noticed the shape of two existing flower beds were like the wings of a dragonfly. We added two more beds for the smaller wings and left some long grass for a body but the new sculpture will really make the giant dragonfly come to life. The dragonfly will be a mosaic sculpture created by artist Steph Roberts. Steph is involving the community at each stage of the project and you can get involved in the design or construction.
