Our aim is to provide encouragement on growing your own in a wildlife friendly way with opportunities to learn more through volunteering. The garden is managed by an informal group of gardening and wildlife enthusiasts. Anyone is welcome to our drop-in sessions on Sundays and Wednesdays 10-12pm, or to attend events on specific gardening skills. Tasks each week will depend on what needs doing and may include planting, weeding, watering or harvesting and clearing. We alternate between our garden and allotment site and may cancel in bad weather so it is worth being on our WhatsApp group.
